Look on the bright side!  Oh, wait, that's not possible right now.  The sunny side isn't up this week, that's for certain.  We traffic reporters long to discuss sun glare-related slowdowns for a change.  All we have seen this week (and last) are dreary, windy, waterlogged, slow commutes.  Flooding has closed some roadways and large puddles have hampered the ride everywhere, it seems.  Large puddles can often hide potholes, so drive carefully.  There are a lot of small branches down on the roads and a lot of debris to contend with, too. 

At least the volume of traffic has been somewhat lighter this week, thanks to April school vacation.  Let's hope those vacationers bring the sunshine upon their return.
