Traffic injuries are the leading cause of death in people ages 10 to 24 around the world. This fact needs much more attention.

Also included here is a statement about the verbiage used for crashes. The word "accident" seems to imply that crashes are unavoidable. They are not. In almost all crashes someone is at fault at least to some degree. But that's a separate conversation that I'll blog about later.
