Seems like it was only yesterday that the Red Sox pitchers and catchers reported to Fort Myers, which is now in the rear view mirror. They begin playing for keeps on Monday and it is slated to be a glorious day in America's heartland. Temperatures are expected to be in the low 80's for the Sox-Royals opener at 4:10PM Boston time - odd time for a game isn't it? With the warmth the Sox will feel like they've never left Florida which is a good thing for hitters like Manny Ramirez who never lilkes hitting in the cold weather. Curt Schilling is coming off a strong spring and it will be interesting to check out his season. It's a contract year for Schilling, and that usually translates into big numbers and a strong performance. Well we're packing up the SportsCenter5 wagon and heading for Kansas City, Kansas City here we come!
