Nothing quite like opening day, but don't worry about missing it- it is pretty cold- you'd be uncomfortable anyway.

I talked to Dustin Pedroia before the game who was a little nervous befrore his 1st home opener, but excited to get going and told me that he was going to try and take in all of the pre-game festivities

Opening Line-Ups and ovations?

-Big Papi with the biggest ovation until- you got it, Daisuke Matsuzaka who slapped 5 with all of his teammates except for Ortiz who he exchanged bows with.

-A nice ovation for Schilling (good thing he won on Sunday), Wakefield, and Jonathon Papelbon who received the 2nd biggest ovation next to Daisuke.
