Yes, there are other Red Sox pitchers besides Daisuke and all of the Red Sox starting pitchers threw off the mound today but it was Matsuzak-san who, of course, received the most attention.

Daisuke threw hard and Jason Varitek is about to come out and give us his impressions which I will relay to you in just a little while.

Curt Schilling also threw as did Joch Beckett, Tim Wakefield & Jonanthon Papelbon- all without incident.

There was a relatively light crowd- I'd say a couple of hundred- on hand for todays initial workout probably because of the windy cool conditions.
