Red Sox Strike out, twice
Posted by: Mike Dowling on April 13, 2007 at 12:51PM EST

What's worse-striking out looking at a fastball right down the middle, or swailing away at a big curveball missing it by 2 feet (think Kevin Youkilis at the end of the Wednesday night's game) Well, yesterday the red sox did both without even playing a game.

waiting until 4:20 to cancel yesterdays game scheduled for 4 :00? in those horrible conditions? C'mon. Please don't insult Red Sox fans intelligence and pocketbooks by allowing them to come in and spend some money on concessions when it was a fait de compli. That is an insult.

And to add insult to injury- How about still going thru with the Red Auerbach tribute?- PLEASE! Paying tribute to the memory of the winningest person in the history of sports in a luxury suite in front of about 20 people. That WAS an insult!

The Red Sox usually always do things right- they whiffed big time on this one and looked bad doing it!
