After getting the leadoff batter, Curt Schilling gave up a 400 foot double off the the left field wall to Tony Pena Jr. Remember his dad, Tony Pena Sr.former catcher for the Sox? Schilling gets David DeJesus looking at a call third strike, two outs. Mark Grudzielanek singles past Youkilis into RF, 2-1 Royals. Schilling gets Mark Teahen swinging. End of inning. 2-1 Royals.
