Shut Schilling Down

June is not the time for heroes, October is. No one knows that better than Curt Schilling so shut it down Curt, especially if Theo Epstein will not stand up to you and tell you to shut it down.

I don't care if there is no structural damage in your shoulder; tendonitis means its sore so rest it -Now. Your team and their healthy 9 game lead will not fall apart without you plus let's reward Jon Lester for his patience and success at triple A. Lester can come up and make a couple of starts and then when Schilling is well rested Francona can have the luxury of having 6 starters to juggle.

Oh yah Curt, one more reminder- you're 40 and pitching for a new contract. No one is going to pay big bucks for a 41 year old pitcher with a questionable shoulder.
